Thursday, November 20th, our NorthStar community gathered for the 2025 Celebration Banquet, a night dedicated to reflecting on God’s faithfulness, celebrating the people who make this ministry possible, and looking ahead to the work still to be done together.
This year’s banquet was more than a fundraiser or a formal event. It was a reminder of why NorthStar exists: to create a place where young people are known, challenged, and supported both on the field and far beyond it.
Celebrating the Heart of NorthStar

As families, players, volunteers, coaches, and supporters filled the room, the common thread was clear, community. From the opening moments to the final remarks, the evening highlighted how deeply interconnected our ministry is and how each person plays a vital role.
Throughout the night, we heard stories that captured the heart of NorthStar Soccer Ministries. Stories of growth, resilience, leadership, and faith. Players shared how soccer has shaped their confidence and character. Coaches reflected on the privilege of walking alongside young athletes during some of their most formative years. Volunteers and referees were recognized for the countless unseen hours they invest each season.
Stories That Matter
One of the most powerful moments of the evening came during our panel discussion, where players and leaders shared firsthand how NorthStar has impacted their lives. These stories reminded us that while goals and wins are exciting, the true victories happen in moments of perseverance, belonging, and mentorship.
We were reminded that:
A consistent, caring coach can change a child’s trajectory.
A safe team environment can become a place of healing and growth.
A community rooted in faith and encouragement can shape future leaders.
Gratitude for Our Supporters
We are deeply thankful for the donors, sponsors, and partners who make this work possible. Because of your generosity, NorthStar continues to offer opportunities to families across our community, including scholarships, leadership programs, and safe spaces for kids to grow.
Your support doesn’t just fund a season, it fuels relationships, mentorship, and long-term impact.
Looking Ahead: Stronger Together

As we closed the evening, we reflected on the truth that guides our ministry: we are stronger together. The work ahead is meaningful, and it requires all of us, families, volunteers, supporters, and players, continuing to link arms.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their stories, gave generously, and believe in the mission of NorthStar. We are grateful for this community and excited for what lies ahead.
Together, we are stronger.
