NorthStar relies on team sponsors to provide opportunities for our teams and allow them to flourish throughout the season. A single team sponsorship is $3,000 for the program year (Fall 2024 and Spring 2025). In the current season we have 7 Club Teams and only 3 are sponsored. That is a challenge. For the Fall that number could grow to 9. We need all 9 sponsored!
Individual Team Sponsorships are represented by a logo on the sleeve. Team sponsors, coaches and parents are the team behind the team helping our NorthStar players to not only have a soccer team opportunity, but to build the NorthStar Values in their lives.
Take Jacqueline for example. Jacqueline is a true U12 girl "playing up" on the U14 girls team. Playing soccer is what has brought her to us (thanks sponsors, IEC, Arlington and Team Sponsor ACCi!), although her NorthStar involvement does not stop with her own team. Pictured below is Jacqueline serving as an Assistant Referee at a NorthStar Intramural League U10 game. And, we haven’t simply thrown her into the task either, as she and others have weekly referee training sessions with Coach Harrison.
And that's not all! On Tuesdays and Thursdays she often serves as a helper to coaches. Coach Cora has her eye on Jacqueline as a future Junior Assistant Coach and to have Jacqueline in a Bible Study/Mentoring group beginning soon!
These opportunities are available because of our sponsors! Sponsoring a team opens up opportunities for players like Jacqueline, and allows us to provide a quality youth soccer experience for our teams.
