This year, we gather in gratitude to celebrate the work the Lord has done through NorthStar Soccer Ministries — in the lives of our players, families, and community. What began as a simple love for the game has grown into a ministry of mentorship, teamwork, and faith.
Together, we’ve seen God build a community that is united in purpose, strengthened by service, and driven by love. Tonight, we honor not only the accomplishments on the field but the transformation happening in hearts and homes across our ministry.

We’ll celebrate our leaders, mentors, and athletes who’ve lived out faith, teamwork, and perseverance this year.

Problem
A lack of financial resources makes team sports/soccer participation challenging for many of the families we serve. The same lack of family and community resources heightens negative societal influence on our kids.
Solution
We aim to make our programs accessible to families while equipping coaches to teach character through the NorthStar values: Responsibility, Resilience, and Reverence. We impact kids spiritually through team devotionals and strong coach relationships and provide diverse Leadership Development opportunities.
Outcome
We’ve grown to 280 kids across multiple ages and competition levels, with many staying for years. Select players advance to Leadership Development and Mentoring programs, while youth in Referee Training secure local positions. As we continue to promote character growth in our programs, we hope our players will embody the NorthStar values both on and off the field.
