About Club Teams

Club Teams are organized by year of birth rather than school grade. NorthStar players as young as 4th grade sometimes 'play up' on Club Teams. Most 5th and 6th graders are a fit for the U12 division - which is typically 2012 and 2013 birth year.
Club Teams begin at 11U/12U - players born in 2012 and 2013 for the Fall 2023 season. This Spring we expect to keep teams from the Fall season and possibly one new team. We will form more if strong interest and an available coach. Below are the team we currently anticipate:

U14 boys (birth years 2010 and 2011) - one select team (based on tryouts) and open team if enough interest

U14 or U15 girls (birth years 2009/2010/2011) - this is a selected team based on tryouts

U11 or U12 girls (birth years 2011 (very limited), 2012, 2013) - this will be an open team, not tryouts

U12 boys (birth years 2012 and 2013) - one select team and one or two open teams.

High School age 7v7 team
We work to have teams that are different skill levels. Intermediate and Advanced level teams will require try outs. We do our best to have opportunities for new players at all ages while also providing challenge for our more advanced players.
